It's rough all over just now. Not sure how much experience you have, but my words of wisdom are to learn about doing short sales, foreclosures, mortgage mods (since that is most of what is selling now).
Additionally, start getting on lists to do BPO's. There is a big demand for that since the REO market is so hot, and not only will you make money for every BPO, you'll learn the market better, and how to do better comps.
You should also learn how to do real estate consulting, where you'll get paid for work that you do, WHEN you do it. For more info on that email me direct.
I also have some Network Marketing tips that are working good for some of my other agent friends if you'd like to email me direct, I'll share that info with you as well.
WARNING: Be cautious about most networking opportunities. Some require a lot of upfront money and time, with no ROI. The best thing to do is something that won't interfere with real estate so you can continue to hang in there while the market goes through this downturn.
