I'm a beach bum at heart, and the idea of waking up and falling asleep to the sound of the waves, or the sunrise / sunset makes me have to suggest somewhere along the Gulf Coast!

Here are my favorite resources to help you with your relocation to the Pensacola area ( Gulf Breeze, Milton, Pace, and Navarre being Santa Rosa County) and Perdido Key and Pensacola being Escambia County!

Fair Housing laws prohibit us from making comments on the area and location of homes, so definitely do your research while you are preparing for your move! Also check out google earth or an aerial view of all properties or areas you are interested in! It's free and a very valuable resource.

You can view information about Escambia County Schools and their respective grades. at the countys website at

You can view the most current Santa Rosa County School Districts and grades with this link - The best and most comprehensive list of rentals in the Pensacola area and features our rentals as well as all other companies in Pensacola! is the website for the Escambia county Sheriffs office. You can also call them at 850-436-9630 or the Santa Rosa County Sheriffs office at 850-983-1100.

Additionally, there is a state website for FL that features all sex offenders so check that out!;jsessi…

Hi Garrett,

I would have to suggest you check out Brevard County before making any decisions. We have the best of Florida right here with easy access to Orlando and it's many attractions.

Good luck with the search!

Hi Garrett, it really depends on what kind of lifestyle you want. We have so many beautiful beaches along the area you are suggesting. If you love water sports, any of the towns from Ft. Walton to Pensacola have potential! My area in Pensacola is a family area with an airport that you can go any where! We have white sugar sand beaches and very reasonable prices. When wonderful out door activites. Call me at 85-982-2535 for any more information. Sincerely, Margo Painter

Hi Garrett,

You may want to rent for at least 7 months to be sure it's an area you want to live. That way if you're not happy you can easily exit. I don't think there is a big hurry to buy real estate right now. No hurry until something significantly changes that will increase demand for real estate.

The North Gulf Coast has much to offer. Near Pensacola there were some nice houses in a gated community in your budget range. I'd be happy to send you more info. Consider the Pensacola/Northwest Florida area. Great outdoors activities, health care, beaches, shopping, culture & arts. - Ted Brown - Bob Davis Realty - Pensacola - 850-982-1907

I lived up north and there are a lot of great areas depending on what you are looking for. The weather is considerably different up north and if that is what you are seeking I would recommend a trip down to the region to explore. If you are tied into investing into the north central area that is one thing but do not overlook the paradise we enjoy here in the Jupiter area. Here is another blog you might enjoy;

If you have may have any interest in Palm Beach or Martin Counties or if I can answer any other questions, just let me know.

If NW Fl. is a possibility, Destin, Navarre and Pensacola are great areas. Destin has shopping and beaches, Navarre has great beaches and a laid back kinda lifestyle. Pensacola has very afforable housing along with great beaches and all that city life has to offer.
