Prospect Heights borders Prospect Park, one of the largest parks and recreational areas in all the five boroughs. Prospect Park has a large variety of venues, recreational and musical events during the year, including the Prospect Park Zoo. There are dog runs and an actual dog lake, that is open to pet owners in the early morning hours. You can go to the park to run, bike, skate or picnic.
