Dear Cs,

Sometimes people want to do a "rent to own" because they fear that they cannot get a mortgage. Do you realize that you can still get financing with considerably LESS than perfect credit and putting down only 3.5%? Are you familiar with any of the Montgomery County Grant Programs to help you with your closing costs?

Rent to own may be a possibility, but home-ownership in this time of very low rates trumps all! Let me know how I can help you.

The best way to approach this question, is to get together with a buyers agent to present this to the listing agent with terms in place. Remember, the agent who has the home listed for sale is working for the owners and in their best interest. If they have the home listed for sale, then obviously their goal is to sell it outright. If you would like more information on how lease purchase would work or to see if you could buy a home now, feel free to give me a call. I would enjoy the opportunity to speak with you and to help you reach your goal of finding a great home. You can email me at aholt@c21callfirst.com or call at 610-385-2400. Have a great holiday.
