There are 3 Carolina One offices in Mt. Pleasant. Carolina One is by far the market leader in every area of Charleston. Carolina One has 800 of the 3000 agents in the Charleston market. More than likely, a Carolina One agent is going to bring the buyer for any home sold in the Charleston area. Makes it easier if your home is also listed with a Carolina One agent.

The Meredith Company has many magazines including Traditional Homes and Better Homes and Gardens. We have information on 85 million engaged subscribers and through our Pin Point marketing programs can reach the buyers who will have an interest in your home. Better to know how you could sell the quickest and realize most $. Flat fees can make you more competitive in pricing. Location is most important regardless of listing company. Condition is next and then pricing. Why pay 6% to get into the system of MLS?

It would be helpful to know why you are inquiring about the sales volumes. Are you thinking that the larger the company the better the service? Please remember that it is the individual agents who are the actual service providers, and that every individual agent (or team) is an independent contractor. Company size is not always a good predictor for exceptional service of their agents.

Keller Williams has the largest office (in 2010 volume sold) in Mount Pleasant - see below the MLS stats. However, Carolina One has several offices and more agents, and has sold more as a company. Most companies have a wide range of experience among their Realtors. Some have in the business more than 20 years, some may have started last month. They include listing specialists, buying specialists, short sale specialists, REO specialists and/or investment specialists. The best choice would depend on what you are looking for and your personality type, less so on the company they work for. Hence my opening sentence...
