Your question in regard to a house that you cannot buy is a good example of why you should be working with a Realtor if you are serious about buying a home.

An experienced local Realtor will sit down with you and discuss the criteria for your desired home. Your Realtor will help you to find appropriate financing, if needed. Your Realtor will show you homes; help you put together an offer when you find the home that is right for you; negotiate with the seller on your behalf; help you through the escrow, inspections, and full loan approval process; explain and assist you to understand the closing documents and closing process and – wonderful time for all – hand you the keys to your new home when escrow is closed.

And – this is the really good part – the cost of all of the professional help and guidance from your Realtor is almost always paid by the seller!

How to find a Realtor? Well…you can certainly do worse that talking to those on Trulia who are will to answer your questions.

Hi Pam -

The sales price information on the trulia link is not correct. This home was listed on 1/06/2004 for $659,950 and it sold on 2/17/2004 for full price, $660,000. For some reason the tax records show that the recorded sales price was $659,954. There may have been some personal property included in the sale.

Is this home coming on the market again? I just checked and i is not currently listed in the multiple listing service.

If I can help you with your real estate needs, please let me know. I've been a peninsula Realtor for 21+ years now.

Pampiccione this home is not for sale so there is no list price. What made you think it was for sale. The Trulia link gives property info but does not say it is for sale or rent. I ask because sometimes there are scams where people take info on homes on Trulia, Craigslist, or Zillow and claim they are for rent.
