Thanks for your questions! In order to get into a house you need to find a lender who can help you get prequalified. This is very important in the fact that once they prequalified you for a loan you will be able to figure out what price range you can afford!

Or if you have a lender/bank that you know of you may ask them to get you prequalified. The lender can also help you figure out what your payments will be for a home priced at let's say $150,000 based on your interest rate that you receive.

The basic requirement includes a minimum credit score of 620 and 20% of the sales price for a down payment.

Before beginning the process of even looking at homes, meet with a lender to discuss your specific financial status. The lender will be able to advise maximum price of home that you could purchase. Also, you will get a pre-qualification letter that will be useful when making an offer on a home.
