since garage is converted...does this home not have a garage to park a vehicle?

Hi Tania,

This does not have a garage to park cars. Also, if it was done without permits, that will present many possible issues that should be addressed with your lender...not here. While we can tell you the technical aspects of permits versus no permits, the burden of the issues will fall between you and your lender.

Correct. Some lenders (for the buyer's loan) will require it to be converted back to a garage in order to fund a new loan on the property. But, since it is bank owned, the current bank may not want to do that work. This may be a tough one to finance for FHA or VA.
