Chris gives good advice ... Be careful with foreclosed properties especially in the treacherous winter weather ... The banks do not take great care of the properties they foreclose on so a lot of times they can have burst pipes, mold or be vandalized. The banks sell properties in "As is" condition so they will not be liable or pay for any problems.

Just a warning :)

You may want to consider another property ... Here is a link to every property on the market in Rockland:

The big question is! Did they winterize, close up and drain the pipes properly. Be careful!

Hi, 677 Hingham Street, Rockland is not currently on the market. It has been taken back by the bank on 8/26/2008. It should be coming back on the market shortly. I don't know about the condition of the systems but do know that you won't have to worry about paying back taxes when the property comes back on the market because they will have been paid by the seller by then. Let me know if you have any further questions.
