I hope they do not take it off. The information on that sale is valuable to other Trulia buyers and sellers. There is no reason it should be removed.

Hi Sara,

I guess before you purchased the house it was o.k.. for the information to be available to you?

The internet is a way of life, there are so many different views of your home on so many different sites that unless you take the time to have each removed, it will always be available. Also, it will always be available as a closed comparable property.. so look at it this way.. your home will be spoken about for the at least the next 12 months by realtors in the area, people looking to buy homes in the area and so on.. just like the information that was available to you when you were looking to purchase a home..

You are now a comparable property.

Live with it.

Hi Sara,

It is 2009 and your house will always be on the Internet on many different sites. You can't remove it, it's just a part of life.

For example check this out:

http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?wip=2&v=2&style=r&…

Click on "Bird's Eye" and scroll to the left. Your house is located on Pine Brook where Sunset ends right? Aircraft fly over your home and take these pictures. So there is really no "real estate privacy" anymore.

You just have to accept it. It will probably get worse. Make sure you are dressed when you are in the backyard!

Sara home sales are part of Public records. They are only publishing your recent transaction.

Sara,

Email trulia at customerservice@trulia.com. I believe they would be happy to take it down.
