Hey Tom,

I used to live near here and whenever I needed to get to the Loop, I used to take the Bus to the Blue Line. There is a Blue line station at Ashland and Division (about 1600 West, and a couple blocks North). You can take the 70 Division Bus to the blue line station.

I attached a link to the CTA bus Map for you.

Best of Luck.

You can also use this link to the Chicago Transit Authority to obtain the information Christopher suggested.

Dear Tom,

One of the easiest ways to figure out your proximity to public transportation is to call the Chicago Transit Authority and given them two addresses that you'd like to travel between (i.e. work and home). They can then give you the fastest route between the two destinations. The numbers are 1-888-968-7282 or 1-312-836-7000. Good luck.

Sincerely,
Christopher Thomas
