You need to speak with the park manager before you can even get accepted into the park. So don't enter into a contract before you get park acceptance. However, this looks like a pre HUD home (built before June 15, 1976. I would be very careful in this situation.

Pre HID homes are not only very difficult if not impossible to acquire a loan on but there are health issues to consider as well. Many pre HUD homes had caustic and carcinogenic chemicals in the flooring and countertops i.e. formaldehyde. Additionally, many homes had asbestos insulation in the attic, walls and under the floors.

Make sure to have it thoroughly inspected by an experienced manufactured home inspector.

Hello again Brice,

The requirement of this particular park is at least one owner/occupant be age 55 or over. Sometimes a park will allow someone who is at least close to that age if their credit scores and references check out fine.

It's a case by case decision made by the park mgr and/or owner.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
