Hi Sam, In Ventura County you can purchase an attached home - condo or townhome - starting at around 100,000 and a single family home starting at about 200,000. Currently Oxnard is one of the lowest priced areas. As a local representative for RealtyTrac for over 3 years, I can tell you that you need to set your price range and look at everything it it.

Even if this home was 25,000 asking, buyer would bid it up to the market value, which is far greater.

If you are serious about looking for a home, you should start with contacting a lender to help you establish what you can qualify for and what you are comfortable affording. The, contact a Realtor to help you with your search.

Hi Sam,

Yes, the LEASE is $25,000/month. Is this something that would be of interest to you? Alternatively, you could live at the beach weekly for substantially less through a vacation timeshare at Mandalay Shores. Enjoy your summer!!
