Your question has been asked many times on postings from Realtytrac. (you may want to search on that to see what I mean). I would suggest a different approach to get the results that you are, no doubt, searching for- specifically to find a home, at a good price, that meets your family's needs.
1. work with a buyer's agent- you can review respondents on this site to determine someone who seems to meet your 'personality', seems qualified and knowledable and can negotiate on your behalf.
2. Get set up on a client portal, hopefully using MLS or one that feeds directly and automatically from MLS, to review REAL listings that you could consider. You can be as specific as you want a certain type of roof, or RV access...in more detail than you can driving by homes. You can easily specify that you want a certain elementary school area...any desire you want can most likely be described in your search.
3. Have your buyer's agent work with you to obtain preapproval from a lender, coordinate showings on houses, and help you understand the difference between short sales and bank owned homes, and the strategy you might employ.

Finding a listing on Trulia, especially if it's listed by realtytrac, is going to just end in confusion for you. Good luck!

What your seeing is a sort of public record type listing from REALTYTRAC, that doesnt mean the property is on the market yet (notice no address). The only current property on Lake Natoma Drive is at $164,900 and has been on the market for 27 days, its a probate sale.

There are several properties on Lake Natoma currently in the pre marketing stage meaning they should be on the market in the next 30-45 days. My suggestion is to get aligned with a REALTOR and get your financing in line and when those properties come on the market, you can view them on day on. If the property has been on the market more than 5 days, you may be late to the party as offers are most likely being considered.

Best of luck in your home search

RealtyTrac has gotten in trouble for doing this. They list properties that are in pre-foreclosure or have just been foreclosed but are not yet on the market. It's unethical and usually in accurate. Beware.

Hi Anne,

It looks like that may be a property that has never changed status. It looks like the only home available on that street is a 4bd/2bth for $164k. If you'd like to go out and see some properties today give me a call and I can pull up a list of homes that are currently active on the market that you see today.

Talk to you soon,
Belinda
