Lisa,

I know that building, it's a couple of blocks from my business in Santa Monica. That rent of $1,200 may be per week, or it's a scam. If you'd like to rent in Santa Monica avoiding scams, please contact me directly.

Lisa,
No, it is a scam unfortunately.

The property was listed for sale, but was cancelled in July. Usually if something is too good to be true, it is. Also, another thing of note is how blurry the pictures are. Whoever posted this as a rental took the lower resolution pictures from a different site and posted them on the fake rental listing.

With that being said, I would love to help you find a suitable place for rent if you are still looking. Feel free to get in touch with me directly, and I can provide all the listings available that match your criteria, and get you updated listings as they hit the MLS.

Most likely, this is a scam. Most units in this complex lease for $4900 and up. It is good that you ask. This seems like a too good to be true ad or a scam.
