Keep in mind that when looking at RealtyTrac's ads, some of the information may be inaccurate nor updated; some of those properties may not be for sale yet, and some may never be if the default is satisfied by the owner. If interested in foreclosures consider working with an agent of your own, as most do end up being listed with a broker. During your search, don't overlook some traditional sales as some may end up being a much better bargain. If purchasing with a mortgage, be aware that a mortgage pre-approval letter is required in order to determine your price range and for any offers to be taken seriously

Diroin,
$51,847 will not get yo a 2 BR/ 2 BA in SoHo. It might get you a closet in one, though. There is clearly something wrong with this listing. It is posted by RealtyTrac, which is a paid subscription service. They used to have a free trial period, but be careful. They continued charging me for months after I had cancelled and I had to get my credit card company involved.
