Kristen, you mean it's still listed on Trulia, right? Third party real estate sites like this don't have to follow the asme rules that Realtors do. In fact, it helps them to have more listings, no matter what the status, on their site to drive traffic.

The listing shows that it has been pending since March 27, that's 2-1/2 months. That is a very long time for a house to be pending that is not a short sale. If I were you, I would call the listing office to get the straight scoop on this property. Their number is 248-352-7114. And in case you don't have it, the address of the property is 28754 Groveland. If you need additional help, please call me at 248-930-0198.

Kristen,

Some companies do not indeed report a home as sold. They are required. I can follow up for you, to find out if it has closed. However, you should be working with a buyers agent. No charge, a buyers agent works for you. You can access the web site for free access to the M.L.S. for up to date listings. Best Regards, Steve

Not unusual for this to happen, I have recently had 3 properties that took more then two months to close. These days it seems to be the banks issues that cause delays. But you never know anything can happen. I had one seller that was in intensive care for weeks and we had to wait for him to get better to sign the documents. I am surprised that the home inspection was not completed within the first 10 days after PA was signed by both parties. If the property does not pass inspection it may come back on the market.

Good luck
