Ssneider1, It does not appear that this property is currently for sale. The depicted $1000 is not a sale price but a transfer fee which has nothing to do with an asking price. Although buyer perception is that there are foreclosure deals to be bought, Purchasing a condo for $1000 is not realistic especially through a website. If you attended a foreclosure auction at the courthouse then you might find some high risk low priced properties.

If you choose to attend a county auction, be prepared to pay for your winning bid at the end of the business day. You will be bidding against, experienced investors, banks and corporations.

Good luck with your pursuits!

To get a real list of available foreclosures have a realtor send you a list of currently available properties. Realty Trac gives public record information to capture buyers so its hard to determine exactly which property that is listed.

Generally speaking unless a property is in a higher crime area it's not possible to buy a property below about $80k in Tampa Bay. You may be able to buy a condo below $80k but it will likely require you pay high monthly condo fees and also may have to buy with ALL CASH or at least 50% down.
