contact the public trustee office and ask them about forclosure auctions, do your due research on the home, leins, condition, have cash ready and be prepared to have extra money on hand in the case that the home was left in poor condition.

Hi Tim,
Well here in Florida our market has gotten so bad you can find them on the mls. If you wanted to try to buy a foreclosure before it hits the mls, the courthouse would be the place. Give them a call, it can't hurt, but it is a bit of work and research. You are also buying as is so make sure you do the research.
Best of Luck,
Nancy
