Re: 1215 N 6th Pl in Port Hueneme. "Property Needs Flooring & Appliances. Property Currently Has A Clogged Sewer Line. Contractor Says Sewer Can Be Repaired For $4,000. Property Several Doors Down The Street Is Asking 319,950 And Is 1087 Sq.Ft. And Is Also In Escrow" ... Sold (10/13/2004), Sold (07/24/2008), and the property was foreclosed by the California Hsng Fin Agcy (CAL-HFA) on 9/7/12. You can hire a professional licensed firm to test for asbestos. Abatement, if fibres are found, would be another firm. I hope this helps!

Sold 3/272007 - standard sale between a buyer and seller
Foreclosed 8/9/2007 - also shows as a sale but is a Deed recorded for foreclosure
7/24/2008 Sold from the foreclosure bank to an individual
Foreclosed 9/7/12 - also shows as a sale but is a Deed recorded for foreclosure

Not all sales showing on the tax records are for standard sales between home owners. Two of these are due to foreclosure. I doubt a asbestos problem would be the cause because 1) It's a relatively simply remediation 2) no one would buy it if the problem is so bad it needed a tear down.

I remember showing this house before. Would you like to see it? It's now a foreclosed property again.
