What does the Chicago Mag article have to do with the "cancer" quote - and what was the purpose of the cancer quote?

Help me out here. I'm totally missing the point of your question and your response.

I'm not selling anything. I'm actually looking to purchase a home in Lincoln Square and was interested in this house on 2315 Hutchinson. I did some more research on the Web and ran into this:

You tell me what it means

Hi James,

You know, just for conversation purpose..... the expression that you either heard from a neighbor himself or someone who told you, could mean all kinds of things if that is actually what the neighbor said or meant.....And it would be helpful to you it seems to know what it means, and I am still wondering why you are interested in knowing - the reason for which only YOU know.....

In this economy the reasons for having a certain feeling about properties in a neighborhood could be many different ones.... Sometimes just the fact that there is a property for sale (higher or lower price, bigger or smaller size, very different style from the rest of the neighborhood, long construction period with noise and
dirt involved for the neighbors, or just a property on the market for a very long time) could all be frustrating to neighbors or a neighborhood....

Of course there is no way for any Realtor to give you an answer to this kind of a question, nor should we --- unless you are a prospective buyer and your question and concerns are related to issues with the property itself....

I hope that you can figure out your concerns .... As it seems to me that you really want to find out having posted two different questions about the property....

Take care and let me know if I can be of any further help in your search for a property.....

The better question is - what motive does "James warner" have for posting this? Is he selling a home across the street?
