Hello, I'm not sure what the specific circumstances are, but it is not uncommon for a home to sell for more than the comparables in the area. Sometimes a home may have upgrades and additions to it that others in the area do not. Yard size is also a possibility. Some corner lots are twice and sometimes three times larger than adjacent lots; thus, giving it greater value. These are just a few things to consider when purchasing and comparing prices.
