When I see posted hoa fees for, say, $320, is that $320 per month or per year?

Asked by Anne K, Show Low, AZ Thu Feb 28, 2013

The hoa fees listed seem very high to me, especially when there is no real grounds and assigned parking, etc.

Thanks to all of you for being so quick to let me know and for the extra info on why they are that high. Yes, they all seem ridiculously high considering what one gets. I don't like HOA's as a rule, but I may be stuck with one based on my price range. I do have an agent now. And, apparently, I should not be looking on sites like this since they are always behind. But I am weak!
Thanks again to all!

According to the MLS the HOA fee is $320/mo, which is on the high side. Let me know if I can assist you with your home search.

The HOA board decided to raise the monthly fee to take care of some repairs instead of acessing everyone and leaving the HOA like it was. So the $320 per month fee is real. The board is now taking steps to lower the new HOA fee and haven't decided what that will be yet.

According to the MSL listing, that fee is monthly. Here is a link to the MLS listing:
