Well Margaret,
Are you already working with an agent? Because if you are I do not want to step on anyone's toes in the process of trying to help you.
I just got back into the office after being out with clients this afternon and I see you have found a great deal on a house. This house is listed by a co-worker in my company and has been listed since 9/26/2008. It started at a price of $385,000 a little about the two times its' SEV of $176,000 one could expect, but as of 3/2/2009 it lowered to $297,000 (nice price for a house of this location/style/& size). As i read the coments below and the listing in the MLS I see it already has a contract on it, maybe I should show you another house that could fit your needs.
I look forward to your your reply on my cell phone or my E-Mail and wish you well in your quest for good answers on Trulia.

Margaret, there are 2 contingencies left to be removed on this house on Greenook. We can schedule to see it at your conveneince and as the other agent explained below, you would be in back up position if you liked the house and wanted to make an offer. Working with an accredited buyers representative is having someone look after your best interests - not working for sellers. Call us to talk about your housing and agent options...734-669-0337.

Hi Margaret,
This lovely home has an offer on it. It is early in the process, however, so you could still choose to see it. The benefit of doing this is that if you write a back-up offer and the first offer falls through for any reason, you will then be the primary offer. Alternatively, I can set you up for a property email search of the multi-list system (MLS). You tell me what features are important to you in a home, and I schedule the system to search out homes that match your needs and email them to you and I go to work in the MLS database ordering it to find properties that match your needs. This is a great way to stay on top of the market instead of behind it where you find yourself now. You will continue to receive individual emails whenever a new home comes on the market that matches your criteria, or one you have already been sent has a price reduction. It's a great tool. Please let me know if you would like to take advantage of it. I must say congratulations for posting such a question. What you have done by posting this question is a fantastic way to find a Realtor. You can sit back and watch the answers pour in and see who is prompt, who is attentive, who is knowledgeable and who is not. Have a great evening!

Hi there Margaret,

I am Caitlin Phillips of the Prudential and Snyder Company Realtors. I am a local Relocation Specialist, Agent, neighbor and friend. I have looked up the lovely Loch Alpine home that you have inquired about. I have taken the liberty to contact the listing agent to check on it's availability. As the status stands in the Mulitple Listing Service, the house is marked with a CTS status. This typically means there has been a contract received on the property, but for some reason, they are CONTINUING to show the property. Are you working with a buyers agent in our area? If you are not, and you are looking for compitent representation to assist you with relocating within or into the area. I would love to assist you. This site, as marvelous ........as it is, is not as "Up to the minute" as we like.

This spring, as you may know has started early in our area. Many of the homes that are what we call the "best buy on the block "are coming in with Mulitple showings, and selling quickly.

I am available to discuss the benefits of buyers agency, and the fact that hiring a professional is really no cost to you in our area. With that being said, I am available to show you any homes that you like at a time that works for you. I

I do have Friday evening as well as some time for a tour of homes in that area Saturday afternoon, and Sunday evening. So, feel free to contact me anytime and let me know what works. I am too easy to reach at 734-395-4990. LOL

Feel free to learn more about me at http://www.CaitlnAmanda.com or subscribe to my blog at

I look forward to working with you, and will update you to the real time status of Greenook Ct.

Happy Hunting.... Caitlin

Showings can usually be scheduled at your convenience if the home is vacant. Even if it occupied, we just need to make an appointment. Linda Forster email:linda@lindaforster.com
