Not for sale yet. It may still be in the foreclosure process Takes a long time before the bank really owns it and can put it back on the market. meanwhile, it sits there empty. :-(

There is a judgement of foreclosure on file for this home dated 11/20/2012. The owners have 30 days from that date to pay up, then there is a 90 day waiting period, then the bank can list the home for sale. They should be beyond the 90 days now, but many banks here take longer than that to get around to listing it for sale. The foreclosures here in Maine all end up getting listed with agents and put into the MLS, but this one looks like it has not been listed yet.

I don't work in the Auburn area, so am not familiar with this property, but it is not currently listed in the MLS. It appears to have last sold in 2006. Homes can be vacant for many reasons, but if the homeowner is losing/lost the home to the bank, you will most likely see a notice of public auction in the newspaper, followed by the home being listed by a broker who handles bank owned properties. The process can take a bit of time.
