Yes. Search the Property Appraiser's website for the property in question. For Escambia County Florida the site is http://www.escpa.org. Click on the "Record Search" dropdown on the top right side and select "Real Estate". This will take you to the "Real Estate Record Search" page. You can search by Location Address, Owner's Name, 16-Digit Reference Number or a few other options to locate the property record.

Once you find the Property Account Record, look at the second section in the left column labeled "Sales Data". Those are links to the Clerk of the Court records. Here you should find most of the historical information on the property including previous owners. I hope this helps.
