Hi Jeanne
This home does not have a basement. 117 London Plain Court in that same area does have a finished basement listed as un-heated. I would be happy to show you either property. If you would like to visit my website and contact me.
Thanks Michael

The home you asked about does not have any basement areas. However, there are some other homes nearby that do.

A Realtor can provide you free access to any home that matches your wish list.

Enjoy your weekend and happy house hunting!

Basements are not very common at all in the Raleigh area.

When you do see a basement, it's much more likely to be a daylight or walkout basement. In North Carolina, homes are more likely to have walk-up third floors or bonus rooms. There are several reasons for this (besides tradition!). The frost depth is much more shallow than in areas up north, which means that a standard foundation does not have to be six feet deep, and the water tables are much higher, which increases chances for leakage, particularly into a full basement.

Daylight or walk out basements can be found on some of the more sloped terrain in the area. If you're looking for a basement home, be sure to request a sloped lot. Hope this helps!
