The owner has an asking price. We are still a free country. You can make an offer and the owner can respond. Then you will know. No other way to answer your question.

Lisa,

The best way to find this is out to make an offer.

Hi Lisa. Most owners in Chicago are listing and expecting offers. My experience tells my IF the property is listed at the correct price for the market (that's a very big IF) then the accepted offer will be approximately 95%, give or take a bit, of the asking price. Call me and we can discuss the reasons why this is so.

Unless there gets to be multiple offers, then there's a bidding war. Price may go higher than the asking.

It does not show as a rental in the MLS. It just came on the market as a 'sale' so doubt they also want to rent it.
