Kaitlin,
As stated by the other agent the home in question is under contract. With it having an accepted contract it will probably not have any more open houses, However it's status is "continue to show" meaning that it is possible to go take a look at the home if you are interested. The home was last sold 5/31/2006 for $438,750.00 and a year later in 2007 they had the home on the market to sell for $467,900.00 since then they have been chasing the market and dropping he price. Looks like they have finial landed a buyer, or at least a offer. Given the discrepancy in the offer and probable mortgage there could be some issues in the sale of this home, if it is a short sale. Until the home is closed and actually sold anything can happen, and if not this home there are other options on the market. If you would like to start shopping for a home in earnest. Please feel free to call or e-mail me, I would be happy to answer any further questions and /or help you find a home here in the Ann Arbor Area. Personally, I live with in a mile or so of the home you want to see and would be happy to provide you with my experience and local expertise in finding and buying a new home for you and your family. Take care John

Kaitlin,

As you have already heard, the home currently is under contract, however the listing office is continuing to market it. This is a huge waste of time for home buyers, however it is beneficial for the listing office. I explain the situation in more detail in a video I did a couple years ago here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmWmlJm0uzc

The other thing to be careful of is limiting your search to open houses. This is a really bad idea if you are serious about buying. Here is a video that gives the background: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOUChLsVDl4

I hope you find these interesting!

Hi Kaitlin,

I'm afraid this property is shown to be already under contract. Would you like me to send you some similiar active listings?

Hello Kaitlin,

I just checked on the availability of the home and it is marked CCS, which means it has an accepted offer on it. You may still see it but your offer would only be a back up offer if they do not all ready have a back-up offer.

The offer was accepted on October 6th. It is a Short Sale so there really isn't a time frame that this house will close. If you have interest in it, please let me know and I can inquire into the current offer and get back to you.

Sincerely,
