They in turn have paralegals who stir the ashes to uncover what has been burried by the passage of time. This comprehensive approach is what professionals rely upon. And even then, title insurance is advised.
Or you can just use aggregate websites and goggle the address and owner name and presto you have...stuff!. So, yes, you can find stuff...but decision making information is too important to trust to orgainizations who take no responsibility for the data they display. When you access the tax assessors or property appriasers website, be sure you read the disclaimers.This is the resource to which you may have free access. Data displayed will vary from county to county.
