I was wondering if this house is still being sold for 54,200? If so why so cheap, and what needs to be fixed?

Asked by Heather, San Antonio, TX Fri Feb 13, 2009

I am currently approved for a house loan and am interested in this property.

This question is about this property: http://www.trulia.com/foreclosure/2003653991--Sackville-Dr-S…

That was the minimum bid price; the bid opening was Feb.3. Probably the house has some foundation issues and may have been cash only.

Matt hit it on the head. There are a BUNCH of RealtyTrac properties that are posted here on Trulia and other sites (including their own) to entice you to want to pay for their searches. I've felt it's very dishonest and unethical, but yet they still are able to get away with it.

Actually, if you are searching foreclosures and want to find all of them without paying the monthly fees; I have paid monthly for the ability to do so on my site if you are interested. It's 100% FREE to you as a client of eXposed Homes. Please feel free to check it out here.. http://exposedhomes.com/mx/Foreclosure/

Best of luck on your future purchase.

There are currently no homes for sale on Sackville Drive according to the MLS. I've written quite a bit about RealtyTrac and why the homes you see on here (supplied by RealtyTrac) are still listed even though they are no longer available. As much as I love Trulia, this is one of the biggest problems I see around here...old and outdated information from a site like RealtyTrac causes a lot of confusion.

Your best bet when looking for foreclosures are sites like http://www.firstpreston.com and http://www.southwestalliance.com

I hope this helps. Good luck in your search.
