I'm looking to buy a co-op in RVC. Where can you park if there is no parking at your building? Does anyone have a list of parking lots nearby?

Rockville Centre is a great town with some terrific co-ops, many with at least one parking spot included. For instance, if you are looking for a spacious one bedroom in the heart of town on Lenox Road, I have a unit coming up for sale that includes one spot. Drop me a line for more details.

However, if you need to park in a municipal lot, check out the Parking Map here at the RVC Village website -- http://www.rvcny.us/ParkingMap.html. And when you are ready to pay for the permit you can get the application online here -- https://rvcny.securesites.com/parkapp.page You will also find fees at the Village website.

Happy Hunting!

The co-op I have for sale comes with a spot. If you need a 2nd spot there is a municipal lot just down the block that you buy a permit for. I think it is still under $200/year and entitles you to park overnight in any RVC town overnight lot . There are many around town.
Hope this helps,

Hey James. Congratulations on your decision to by a home. It is truly a wise decision, and a great time to do so. You should consider working with an Agent who could better assist you in your search. Some condominiums provide parking on-site, and some do not. An Agent can seek out your needs, and match them with the perfect place for you.

I hope this answered your question! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by the ways below.

Wishing you the best of luck,

Consider revisiting the area and check out parking/parking lots in general, then determine if your comfort level can be reached...nearby is subjective...also conider contacting the Village, see link http://www.rvcny.us/
