How long will an FHA or VA appraisal stay with the home, if Seller decides to put it back on the market for more money?

I just did a VA loan on a Buyers home and we were forced to use the previous Buyer's old appraisal. I think it stays in place 60-90 days. My Buyer had to buy the appraisal from the last Buyers lender.

As of 6/1/2012 an FHA loan is good for 120 days.
