While those are very valid questions, Federal and State laws prevent real estate professionals from "steering" you to or away from an area in favor of another. This includes crime, and school districts. In these and many other topics, you are required to perform your own Due Diligence.

You can use these websites to compare schools or districts yourself. http://schoolmatters.com or http://michigan.gov/mde the Michigan Department of Education website.

I direct my buyer clients to check with the neighborhood association or the police dept to obtain crimes stats in a given area.

Realtors can not anser this question but can lead to the right place to find out info. Call the local sity police department and discuss with them, also the have info on their website as well......... http://www.accesskent.com
