Hello - The "Home Facts" information about my home is totally inaccurate. The home has 4 bedrooms and is close to 2,000 square feet.

Asked by PMY, Fairfax, CA Tue Aug 17, 2010

How can this be fixed? Truila puts themselves out as experts, but how can I trust any of their information if it's not even right for my home?

I looked up the tax record associated with your house, it shows that it was built in 1962, has 1,728 building sf, 425 garage sf, on 0.2452 acre. It shows 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and 1 fireplace.

So, you might want to fix the tax record to show it being 2,050 sf.

By the way, nice pictures of your house! Unique architecture and lovely surrounding views!

I don't know where Trulia got the incorrect information, but you should be able to contact customer service and ask them to change the data Trulia.

The Facts on a home typically come from the County Tax records or from recent sale data. If they are inaccurate, contact the county and have yoru tax records changed.

It's the same on Zillow.com The data is only as accurate as what's on file for your house. I'm happy to look it up (in the tax database if you like), and send you what is listed for your house. Just email me off Trulila with your property address: Liz@BayAreaRealEstateSales.com
