I'd say. People can't find homes to buy in Andover. New construction is booming, so are traditional sales, even short sales. If you are looking to sell, now is definately the time. My husband and I just sold our home a few months ago because we wanted to take advantage of what I believe is a small window for sellers.

Sissy, the prices have dropped about 9% in 2009. Prices have gone up 1.6% in January.

I would say that values in the lower price ranges have been somewhat steady with the help of the tax credit. It will be interesting to see what happens to prices once the credit expires.

From what I have seen the prices are stable at the very least. Andover and Ham Lake are still sought after areas and homes are still selling even above the $500,000 mark. That wasn't true even a year ago. This is an area that has a lot of newer homes and many with a few acres to go along with them. Of course there are still some bargains out there compared with the 2006 peak so keep your eyes open.

Let me know if you need any help looking in the area as I am based out of Coon Rapids.
