Did you get a home inspection? You better!

Asked by Never Trust A Landlord, Las Vegas, NV Sun Feb 22, 2009

When I rented this property from Ms. Thornton, the hot tub was not working. I lived there for 14 months and it was never repaired. The "third bedroom" is actually an addition without a closet or central heat and air. The plumbing in the hall bath sink was in need of repair - the pipes leaked so bad we couldn't use the sink. The master bath shower had water damage. The pool equipment is old, and our pool service fought algae for a year. Be sure to get a thorough inspection if you buy this house, and make sure there are no liens on the property for unpaid taxes, fees or repairs.
