I remember when that area was just open fields, miles from Omaha. Lots of history. Some good, some not but all very interesting. The beauty and wonder of any home is the history the people create there. Most of which is never to be known or revealed. For any buyer, I recommend home inspections, including radon, to determine the present condition, what a house once was does not have the same significance.

Here is link to the neighborhood website...hopefully it will answer questions for you...

This home is on the Western edge of the development, one of the last phases of building. I have been in numerous homes on this street and the home in question looks to be very much in keeping with what surrounds the home. This home is in the mid range for prices in the area...the range is from $350k to over 1 million with the majority close to the mid 500,000s...the general area of the Ridges covers approx 1 square mile.

Do you have any special requests for what you need in a home? If you have any other questions you can help me with I can be reached at

There many factors, obviously, to concider when buying a home. The seller in this case is represnted by a REALTOR and the seller is paying the commission. It may be your best bet in order to get the history of the property and neighborhood to contact a REALTOR to represent you. Your REALTOR can get all the info you are asking here plus much more.

I would be happy to talk you via phone or e-mail and help you through the process of purchasing a home in the Omaha area. Please feel free to call me at 639-2059 or e-mail me at

According to the MLS, the home sold originally in January, 2000, for $500,000. The back of the home faces east with a large deck and overlooks the golf course, east facing would mean you wouldn't be sitting in afternoon sun. Ranch style, walk out lower level, very nice home.

It's located in The Ridges, a very popular golf course community in SW Omaha. Convenient location, close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Approximately 25 to downtown Omaha!

It's located in the Elkhorn School District.
