No wonder we get maligned by sellers & buyers for not listening or paying attention to their interests!

Hi

I get this question a lot from my buyer clients. My response is in the buyer's best interest as :-

Realtors are neither qualified to answer this question nor does the Real Estate Commission encourage 'steering' of clients to any particular school district, as it violates Fair Housing Regulations, for which we can lose our professional license.

Please visit www.Greatschools.net for independent reviews & statistics on student teacher ratio , scores etc.

The Realtor's role is to advise & provide guidance , not teach to or influence the buyer's decision.

A smart, experienced, knowledgable Realtor shares all their expertise that gets their client the home they want that best suits their budget & needs , for now & future enjoyment.

All this can be achieved without 'telling' the client what is 'best" & what is not.

Emily, Just Looking,
This question was posted over 5 years ago!

Emily, Just Looking,
Why are people now responding to this question that is literally over 5 years old? If I hadn't found a house by now, I'd have quite a bigger problem.

Hi Kimberly,

I live in Plainsboro (08536), New Jersey with my wife, son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons. This is a very good an peaceful area. You have everything that you need. Even nice apartments are available for rent which I may be able to show you (I am not an agent and won't be charging you anything. Helping others is my passion. When I become valuable to others, I add value to myself.

All the very best.

Best regards.

Sorry Cheryl, but I am not following, I am not sure what a "so called non agent" is. Is this a RE Pro other than a real estate agent? And is there a problem with non agents or buyers/sellers answering questions?
The Trulia Community Guidelines require posters to identify themselves via a profie as a Buyer/Seller or RE Pro, etc. I think that this is impt so that every one can "consider the source" in reading answers.

The guidelines state that "Trulia Voices is an online community in which membes can ask and answer questions on a wide range of topics about real estate ..." It does not state so that consumers can ask and agents can answer questions. So, not to be obtuse, but please clarify your point. Thanks.
