Hi Violet,
Opinions are like bellybuttons...everyone has one. So, Realtors recommend that you do fact based research, rather than trusing one's opinions. You might want to check with local police
department or the Department of State Police, Central Records Exchange at (804) 674-2000 or
www.sex-offender.vsp.virginia.gov/sor. Please call me if you need additional neighborhood information as I am happy to help!

Normally you need to live in the school district to use the school. If there are special circumstances you need to talk with the school administration.

Azmi Alkurd answered:
Hello Marcella,
what is your question?
are you asking how does it work? or you are interested in renting to own a property? what is your situation?
in any case, all depends on the property, the market activity, the current owner, and if there is a special situation.
Among all, it is easier done in some parts of the country than others, even it varies from one county to another. Put yourself in the place of the seller! He will ask "what is in it for me?"

Please contact us directly, so we can help you better..

Community Meetings Planned on Attendance Boundary Changes for Eight Elementary Schools

May 2, 2012

Following an assessment of current and future student housing needs across the county, staff in the Office of Facilities Services is recommending changes in school attendance boundaries for eight elementary schools. Small portions of attendance areas will be affected by proposed changes, involving from as many as 74 students to as few as 50. Details indicating what communities are affected are posted on the individual school sites. Parents with questions or comments about the proposed boundaries should contact Lionel White in the Office of Facilities Services at 703.791.7312.

A public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on June 13 during the School Board meeting scheduled for that evening in the School Board Meeting Room at the Kelly Leadership Center.

Hello Jenniffe~

Schools/ location and other preferences are absolutely buyer's (client's) own choice and decision. You might want to see what you and your child are interested in and search which school offers what. Moreover, Realtor are not allowed to give their personal opinions to clients as it's considered as steering.
I would highly recommend that you visit school's website, call them for more information and best of all give them a visit.
Below are some helpful links which I always give to my clients looking for schools as a tool:

http://www.pwcs.edu/
http://www.schooldigger.com/
http://www.greatschools.org/

These websites will give you variety of information about the schools you mentioned and about all others in the area.
Hope this information is helpful to you and that you find the best suitable school for your kid.
Best of Luck~
