Real estate in Amarillo is usually pretty steady, and judging by how the market is already taking off in 2015, I see the next 2 years to be even better. If you buy a home, you can take advantage of the low interest rates. Rent is steep here, in Amarillo, and you could own a decent home for what you may be paying in rent. If you decide to leave Amarillo in 2 years, or so, you could hold on to it and rent it out, to gain more equity. Just a thought....

I'd love to help you find a home, here in Amarillo! You can call me at 806-206-7299! Have a great day!

There is a website called You can certainly try that. Craigslist is also an option, but be careful on what information you put on there. I would not recommend Amarillo Globe, only calls you are going to get from that are from Realtors wanting to list your house.
If you have a facebook page, put pictures on FB.
I hope this helps. Good Luck

I too live in Randall district. It depends on what your reasons are for the transfer. If it is because you are not have with the school, then you should have no problem. If it is because of sports - probably not going to happen, not even if you physically sold your house and move to AISD. There would be penalties regarding your student. (if in high school)
Good Luck

Is that the tax appraisal or an appraisal service that gave you that figure of 133k? If it is the tax appraisal, remember tax value is not market value. You should definitly get an agent out to take a look, Id be happy to give you a market analysis of your areaand home for free to figure out the real value of your home and what it should be listed for. Give me a call....
