That property is not currently listed for sale with any local brokers in the MLS. It sold most recently in December, 2010 for $251,825. If it is in foreclosure, it can sometimes be a few months before the bank lists it for sale.

Simple answer is yes - you can always try to negotiate your taxes (during open book typically), but that doesn't mean that you will prevail. Just because you got a great buy on a foreclosure doesn't mean that you bought it at the market value, and that is what the assessor must determine - the market value.
