If you work for such a company, don't you think you'd do a better job for your clients by actually contacting a local REALTOR who specializes in that area? (and NOT using a mediocre website such as Trulia??) This is just a marketing website and doesn't necessarily have the most up to date listings. Nor does it really have the ability to thoroughly search properties for specific criteria, nor the ability to "save" listings.

I'm from the Aspen area and know many many well-qualified agents up there. Please feel free to contact me directly and I'd be happy to put you in touch with some of the best agents in that market.

There are a lot of factors that could effect cost with something like this. It depends on the square footage, the area you live, and time of year. If you are looking to frame in the off season, you may be able to get a lower rate. I suggest getting a few estimates from various contractors in your area. Hopefully this helped. http://www.trussesandframe.com.au/products-and-services ... more

Your office manager should be able to help you. If your listing is in the MLS, (and if they syndicate to Trulia), it should appear here automatically.

very tough question. I am an Architect and lived there full time from 1988 to 2002.
back then you had both retail & restaurant rent driving the equation as well as second floor office occupancies.

I would say that appraised value is RENT driven after 2008 crash.

HOA fees vary considerably in Snowmass Village. Several complexes have great amenities and lower fees. Ski in / ski out properties are more desirable for short term/ vacation rentals while locals often prefer to rent properties that are quieter and less overrun by tourists during peak season. Short term rentals bring in a higher rate per night, but they also require more management (higher fees) and vacancy rates can be unpredictable. What to buy in Snowmass Village depends upon how often you plan to use it and whether it is primarily a vacation property or primarily and investment. I can help you to make the right decision based upon your needs. ... more

Hi Chris,

Aspen does have a few ski-in/ski-out homes. 930 Mill Street is a single family residence and potentially available although not listed. I currently have a townhome slope-side on Aspen Mountain listed. It has ski-in and the ski-out access is about 100 yards from the patio and does involve a short walk, you are not just tipping your ski's down. It is listed for 13,950,000 (909 Mill Street.) Please click the link below to preview the property.

Aspen Highlands is also a great alternative and ski homes are less of a premium compared to townhomes, condos and single family homes in Aspen. Would you be more interested in a single family versus a townhome/condo?
I added 19 properties for you that would be considered ski-in/ski-out homes but I want to make sure you are aware that sometimes the ski-out access for some are a very short walk to the gondola and not 100% ski-out from your residence. Especially some of the ones that are located in Aspen Highlands Village or Tiehack.
If you are open to walking to the gondola there are a lot more options depending on the kind of residence you are looking for. Without specifics please preview some of the properties I have included in the link to give you a general idea.

If you are looking for ski-in properties in Aspen be sure to understand the access/ski-easement to the properties. If you are in Aspen or are visiting, you are welcome to stop in at our office @ 422 Hyman Avenue or preview our website http://www.estatesaspen.com or contact me at (970) 274 2621. Hope this is helpful or contact me if you need more specifics.
