I am a buyer's agent and your friend is welcome to call me at 214-675-6992.
We can work through the whole process long distance.
This is every day way of life for us now.
We can work by fax and email and send all documents to AZ for signatures, etc.
Your friend typically never needs to even visit to close the transaction.

Hi Walter:

I realize this email is late in response to your question date, however be cautious about using Realtytrac as a reliable source for foreclosures. They list numerous properties....many of which never make it to the court house steps or are sold at the court house steps where cash is required to buy them. I had these feature on my website for about 2 months and all it did was cause confusion and chaos.

If in the future you have a question about a foreclosure please feel free and ask. I'd be glad to help!

If a home is on the market a long time (ie: 300 days) then a seller may consider a short term lease until they sell if the home is vacant. However, for short term leases (6 - 9 months) you might want to check into leasing an apartment, staying in an extended stay hotel, or look into leasing a furnished apartment, depending upon your needs and finances.
