I understand and share your concern for displaying the correct information. Currently, Trulia does not have the tools to correct individual sales transactions. That said, this is a known issue and we are working towards creating a better experience for our consumers. What we can do to as a workaround is to remove the entire Price History section. Although we do not have the ability to fix or remove individual dates, we do have the ability to remove the entire section. If you would like to proceed with removing this section, please let me know.

I applaud your efforts in trying to create a stable living environment for your children. I have 2 daughters and there isn't much I would do for them. With that said, I think there are a few things you need to do. First, you need to get in touch with a good mortgage broker in the area who is willing to help. At your income level it will be very difficult to qualify for a mortgage. In my area you would be priced out of everything. To find a good mortgage broker you may want to talk to a local Realtor for a recommendation. Explain your situation. You may find a newer agent who is also looking to get started and needs the experience as much as you want a home. Get qualified first. I think you may have to look at a multi-family and use rental income to help with qualification. This will probably be your best bet. You probably won't get a whole lot of answers here due to your income level and many agents will automatically think it's impossible for you to buy a home.
Good luck. You may have a difficult road ahead to find a home, but unless you make the effort you never know. I've helped many people over the years who've had difficulties financially, but who ended up buying a home.
