Here's the deal folks.
First off, the overly positive reviews, those are manily done by board members and those that work for the community. It was stated by the company that does the marketing manager (Don't remember his name.) That they wanted all employees, board members and committee members to post positive remarks about SawCreek. He also said that he is going to mark ALL negitive reviews as fake facebook pages, and try to convince Trulia and Google to take down all negitave reviews down by claiming them to be fake emails and posters. More hidden truths by SawCreek. I was sitting in the back row today wondering if i was really hearing this..and...I was.
We also learned that they are going to slaughter the deer...AGAIN!! Again!! They hate wildlife up there. How is it possible, in less than one year, go from 28 deer per square mile to 85 in a square mile...sorry, not logistically possible.
Yes, there is a higher rate of crime in SawCreek these days. Yes SawCreek does cater to weekend rentals, so if you have a nightmare of a rental house next to you and you send in a complaint about it, SawCreek sees YOU as the bad guys, not the bad renter home. Has not happened to me....YET, but my friends almost moved out because of a party house on Decker. The deck collapsed on a bunch of party animal kids one day and its been OKish for the neighbors sense then. When I asked my friend why not contact SawCreek about the issue, they laughed and said "Why? And get myself into trouble? No thanks." What did I mistakenly buy into here? Please, for your sake, don't move here...they are horrible.

I own 2 homes in PCP for almost 10 years now and have never had an issue with any sort of crime or felt unsafe at any point. I know the neighbors well and they are very nice. Many of the homes are used for short term rentals as the community is a recreational facility. Many families seem to love visiting up here. In fact I know 3 families over the past years that have purchased a home after vacationing up here. People don't realize that PCP is one of the largest communities in Northeast PA and with any large community, town or city you will have pockets of safe and unsafe areas. Usually the main sections of the community are more affluent and deemed safer. I would recommend anyone wanting to come & relax and enjoy the Pocono mountains to come up & stay in this community. There are a lot of amenities and the welcome center & security staff at the main gate make you feel welcome and safe. ... more

In addition to Scott's reply, you need to talk to your landlord and set some ground rules. Find out why the lockbox is there; under what circumstances will somebody enter your home; who has the code or access to the lockbox besides your landlord; if you want the lockbox removed, will your landlord remove it; if your landlord will increase your rent because of the lockbox; if your landlord does intend to sell the home in the near future, etc. ... more

This data is provided to us by Zillow foreclosures and we currently do not have the ability to edit or remove the information that they are sending us.

Please be advised that I have created a ticket to Zillow Consumer Care to request the removal of the foreclosure status from your property. Once the status is removed from Zillow, it will automatically update to Trulia after 24-48 hours.
