Sounds like you may have chosen the wrong brokerage. You may want to interview with smaller companies or even a team. The key to finding buyers is having listings. Listings bring buyers. One thing you can start today that is no cost is sign up for a free blog on Active Rain. It allows you to promote yourself and what you can offer. Write about your area, events, fairs etc. Then your best investment for more explore is becoming a "A Rainer". The more active you become, the cost goes down until it is free. I put a link below to my blog where you can sign up for free. Good luck with your real estate adventure ... more

Karen and Paul Catania answered:
Look up companies that actually offer training courses. Not only is the training good it help keep you from making mistakes that will cost you your commissions. Most part timers pay their monthly fees, don't do any business, drain their saving and then get another job. Real estate is a full time job or it won't work. Real estate is rarely done on nights and weekends. Like any other job out there it requires your attention to work. Hosting an open house on the weekends are great but the clients you pick up from it will expect you to be available during the work week. When your not they will move on to someone that is available. Just food for thought. ... more

Hi Mary Ann,

If the reason for posting here (in this public forum) is to let the "public" know you are dissatisfied with Truila...mission accomplished.

If, on the other hand, you are attempting to cancel your service - you cannot do so here - and will have to contact Trulia.

They don't monitor this this section of the website.

Good luck!
