This is a 55+ community. If this is what you are looking for you may also want to look into Century Village in Pembroke Pines, or Hollybrook. Very nice communities.

Thank You

Adriano.... Pembroke Pines is in Broward County, not in Miami. Please make sure you understand exactly how long it will take you to get to work, etc. (Check Google Maps directions at the hours at which you're commuting, don't rely on word of mouth or off-peak travel times.)

Hi Rootsgal,

The crime rate in this area is low. For the most part communities in this area will be fenced complexes, and will have private parking and guards at site. Pricing in the area is low as it composed of 55+ communities. There are 55+ communities closer to the beach, but are more expensive. These types of communities will generaly have lots of perks and ammenities. Are you only looking into 55+ communites or are you also looking into single family homes located in other types of communites. Let me know if you need help in finding affordable homes in tranquil areas. My info is below.

while always checking with the local police it is always a great idea to drive in the area yourself. Best to drive around the neighborhood during the week after 5pm when people are getting home from work and also on the weekends when people are out and about working in their yards. If you visited my neighborhood on a weekend you would see a lot of people walking, riding bike, jogging, very friendly and yards well kept. Curb appeal says alot about the types of individuals that live in the neighborhood and alot about who your neighbors are. ... more
