I would find out the worth of your home updated then see what it would cost and see your profit.
example that would work $200,000 worth today updated worth $275,000 cost of update $50,000 profit after update $25,000 Ok I know some people do not have $50,000 to update that is what makes the 203K Mortgage so great! I hope this helps. ... more

This allowed them to upgrade to a wonderful single family home and stay within budget. This is why Trulia is such an awesome site.--Mike ... more
