The City of West Palm Beach believes in its parks and as recently as 2002 placed a referendum before its residents which was approved by the voters to bond out $20 million worth of park improvements. There are parks for all users. Skate parks, passive parks, dog parks, soccer parks, baseball parks, and more. Parks are important for the family oriented focus given to the wpb resident.

Outstanding, with a dedication by the Citys Parks and Recreation staff to keep it that way and to improve even more. There are passive parks, beachside parks, soccer fields, wonderful clay tennis courts (the oldest in the state) a skate board park and more! You'll find dog parks throughout the city (City Paws) well maintained and well-used, lots of interesting conversation on your doggys "play date".
